Health requirements:

Malaria - Malaria risk exists throughout the year in the whole country. There is normally little risk in the city of Nairobi and in the highlands (above 2500 m) of central, Rift Valley, Eastern, Nyanza and Western Provinces

Yellow Fever - A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required over 1 year of age coming from the infected areas. The countries and areas that were included in the former endemic zones are considered by Kenya as infected areas. Yellow fever immunisation is required only if the journey to the Republic starts or entails passing through the Yellow Fever belt of Africa or South America by any means other than by a scheduled air service. The validity of Yellow Fever Certificates extends to a period of ten years beginning ten days after the date of immunisation or in the case of re-immunisation within such a period of ten years, from date of that re-immunisation. Yellow Fever Immunisation Centres:

The Import and export of local currency is prohibited. Free import of foreign currency is allowed provided it is declared. There is no limit placed on travellers cheques and letters of credit.

05 Nights & 06 Days Suggested Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Nairobi - Amboseli National Park (5 hours)

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your safari lodge in Amboseli. The park is famous for its breath-taking views of the glittering Kilimanjaro, sheltering more than 420 species of birds, elephants, hippos and wildebeest.

DAY 2 Amboseli National Park

This morning, rise up early to enjoy marvelous views of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Second in popularity after the legendary Masai Mara, Amboseli National Park not only offers great game viewing but it's also the place to go for the best views of iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. The world's tallest free-standing mountain actually stands just across the border in Tanzania, but Amboseli has a postcard-perfect view of its snow-capped peaks, rising almost six vertical kilometers above the savannah. The best time to view 'Kili' is at dawn and sunset when the clouds lift and the light is clear and soft. Later, enjoy great game viewing of the classic "Big Five" such as the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, giraffe and cheetah on a morning and afternoon game drives.

DAY 3 Amboseli Safari Lodge - Lake Naivasha

Today, travel to Lake Naivasha, the only fresh water lake within Africa's Great Rift Valley, famous for its vast flocks of exotic bird life, hippos and fish. Arrive and check-in to your lodge.

DAY 4 Lake Naivasha- Masai Mara Game Reserve (4hours)

After breakfast, travel along the Great Rift Valley and head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous the world over for its staggering variety of wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migrations. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve (Private). The park is covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia, hazy forested hills and reverie bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander. A spectacular scene to be seen at least once in a lifetime is the annual migration of hundreds of thousands of zebra and wild beasts from the bordering Serengeti, not forgetting the predators that move along with them. This reserve is famous for gazelles, antelopes and a variety of birds. The lion, elephant, cheetah and leopard are also found here.

DAY 5 Masai Mara Game Reserve

The morning is at leisure for independent activities. You can start your day by rising before dawn for a spectacular hot air balloon ride followed by a bubbly bush breakfast as an optional tour.Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve (Private). Late afternoon, set out on a game spotting safari in the reserve, where you will have an opportunity to spot Africa's 'Big Five' - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and the Cape Buffalo. See some stunning landscapes of the savannah as you go on this game drive in a vehicle with a pop-up roof.

DAY 6 Masai Mara Game Reserve - Depart Nairobi (5hours)

Today you will be transferred to the airport in Nairobi for your flight back home.

What to see
Masai Mara National Park:

It's one of the best known wildlife Areas in Kenya. Approx. 270 kms from Nairobi & takes 4/5 hrs by road. The reserve covers an area of 1510 sq.kms. Is an extension of Serengetti National Park of Tanzania. Main attractions: Wild Beest Migration (July & September), Hot Air Ballooning, Lion sighting, Huge Savannahs of Golden Grass.

Lake Nakuru:

310 kms / 5 hrs. From Masai Mara - Famous for its Flamingoes and Pelicans and black & white Rhino & home to 450 species of birds. Game viewing is easy in this park as the road run through the bush and along the lake.

Aberdare National Park - 190 kms/3 hrs. From Lake Nakuru

It's the third highest mountain range in Kenya and vital water catchment supplying the whole of Nairobi. Approx. 767 sq.km. (7000-14000 feet altitude) Famous for its Tree House Hotels. One can find a wide range of wildlife creatures including lion, leopard, black and white Colobus Monkey, The rare species include the golden cat and the most famous – bongo antelope. Game Viewing is from the terrace overlooking a flood-lit waterhole.

Mt Kenya

90 kms/ 1.hr.30 min. from Aberdares - Fabulous scenery, Dawn & dusk sightings of Mt.Kenya's peak. Elephants, Black & white Colobus & Sykes Monkeys can be seen.

Amboseli National Park:

It's at the foot of Africa's highest mountain Kilimanjaro. The snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro dominates every aspect of Amboseli and forms a backdrop to an impressive display of wildlife with its population of lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other savannah game.
