Jurong Bird Park

This is one of Singapore's main attractions. This park is spread in an area of 20 hectare and is the largest bird park in all of Southeast Asia. This park also holds the distinction of having the world's tallest manmade waterfall. It is also home to 8,000 birds from 600 species including one of the largest Hornbill collections in the world. The bird park can either be covered on foot or else there is a monorail. This park is open from 8 am to 6 pm, daily.

Getting there - Take the MRT to Boonlay station(W12) and then take SBS bus number 194 or 251.

Sentosa is the largest and best known of Singapore's offshore islands. It is a multi-million dollar pleasure resort offering a wide range of activities and attractions. Besides the under water world the main places of interest in this island are listed below :

Underwater World Sentosa :

Asia's most exciting tropical oceanarium, Underwater world has an 80-metre submerged acrylic tunnel which allows you to view over 2500 marine creatures from 250 species in stunning proximity. See sharks, stingrays, moray eels, stonefish, turtles and weedy sea dragons. Be sure to catch their latest inhabitants : piranhas, electric eels, a dugong and pink dolphins. How to get there to Sentosa -
