Jamnagar – Dwarika – Porbandar – Somnath – Gir – Rajkot
Day 1: Arrive Jamnagar Dwarika (132 kms/2.5 Hrs)
Arrive Jamnagar and proceed to Dwarika one of the Chardhams – four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites. Check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit Bhadkeshwar mahadev temple and evening visit and witness aarti at Dwarikadeesh Temple (Open 1700 – 2130 hrs). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Dwarika Darshan
Morning visit Bet Dwarika (By Ferry) and on way back visit Rukmani Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirling – One of 12 Jyotirlingam of Shiva and Gopi Talav. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Dwarika Porbandar (110 kms/ 2 hrs) Somnath (130 kms/ 2.5Hrs)
Today morning check out from the hotel & depart to Porbandar (also known as Sudamapuri). Visit Kirti Mandir – birthplace of Gandhiji and Sudama (friend of Lord Krishna) Temple. Lunch at Porbandar. Later proceed to Somnath. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Somnath Darshan
Today after breakfast proceed to visit Somnath Temple – is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of the god Shiva. Alongside old Somnath temple. Later see Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir, Chopati. In the evening attend Aarti and later watch light and Sound show by Gujarat Tourism at Somnath Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Somnath Gir National park (70 Kms/2 Hrs)
After breakfast proceeds to Gir National park and check in to your resort near the National Park. Afternoon (1500 – 1800hrs) enjoy an adventurous 3hrs jeep safari, where you get face to face with the regal Gir lions. After the safari, you can spend the remainder of the day at leisure. (Gir Jungle Trail – closed from 16th June to 15th Oct). Overnight at Resort.
Day 6: Gir National Park Rajkot (160 Kms/ 4.5 Hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Rajkot. Evening at leisure.
Day 7: Rajkot – Onward
After breakfast visit Swaminarayan Temple. Afternoon check out from hotel and proceed to airport to take your return / onward flight.
