Day 1: Delhi Kalka (6 hrs) Shimla by Toy train (5 hrs)
Arrive Kalka and board the toy train to Shimla. Beautiful toy train takes you through lush green mountains with scenic, misty views for the unique experience.
Shimla, the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow-capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Arrive Shimla and transfer to hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Local sightseeing and shopping
Start your day by visiting Vice Regal Lodge used by the British Viceroy when the summer capital used to shift to Shimla from Calcutta (now known as Institute of Advance Studies), 2nd Oldest Christ Church built in 1857 in Neo-Gothic style. Later visit Gaiety theatre and Scandal Point. The evening time is free for you to shop across the remarkable Mall Road, Lakkar Bazaar, and the Tibetan market. These markets are famous for handicrafts, wooden toys, artifacts, clothing, and other fancy items. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Full day excursion to Kufri (17 Kms/ 50 Mins) – one way
Today take an adventure visit to Kufri, popularly known as the snow resort, it is situated at an altitude of 2,630 meters. You will be taken on a thrilling tour to the Himalayan National Park where you would encounter a variety of animal species such as bear, musk deer, and many more. The next stop would be Jakhoo Temple at the Jakhoo Peak, altitude 2,500m, highest peak of Shimla from where one can witness panoramic views of the Shivalik, and the town of Sanjauli.
Day 4: Departure Shimla
Today after breakfast , take toy train back to Delhi via Kalka or return by flight.
