Day 01: Cochin a Munnar (140 kms / 5 hrs)
Arrival Kochi Airport. Drive to Munnar enroute stop at Echo point. On the way enjoy some natural scenic spots. Munnar Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British Government in South India. Check in to Tea Bungalow. Dinner & Overnight stay on Hotel.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing which includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, (Boating facility available at Dam Site) and Kundale Lake. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park where the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted. Dinner & overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3: Munnar a Thekkady (90 kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Check-in hotel. Afternoon enjoy boat cruise (2 hrs.) through the waters of Periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is situated. If time permits one can visit spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, ayurvedic herbs, tea & coffee plantations. Dinner & overnight stay in hotel
Day 4: Thekkady a Alleppey (140 kms / 4 hrs)
Check-out from hotel and proceed to Alleppey (Alapuzha). On arrival, check in to Houseboat. Lunch on board. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. (Cruising till 5 pm.) Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in Houseboat. (AC functioning from 9pm – 6 am only).
Day 5: Alleppey à Cochin Airport (85 kms / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, check-out from Houseboat and transfer to Cochin Airport. En-route one can visit Jewish Synagogue, Dutch (Mattencherry) Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets etc.
