Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 3 hrs.)
On arrival transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), ‘Scotland of the East”. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong. Alternatively stay at Umium Lake-Ryi Kyinjai Resort.
Day 2: Shillong Sight seeing
After breakfast, visit Don Bosco Museum, Lunch at Shillong peak, After lunch visit Elephanta falls. Evening visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills and boat ride. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs.)
Morning drive to Eco Park (2.5 hrs.) near Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world, to view Seven Sister Falls. After lunch visit Mawsmai Caves – naturally sculpted limestone caves. En-route to Shillong visit beautiful Nohkalikai water fall. Evening return to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 4: Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki (62 Kms /2 hrs)
Morning drive to Mawlynnong – for a guided tour of “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Proceed for half hour trek to living root bridge a naturally formed wonder. Later drive to Dawki, a small town near India – Bangladesh border to enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River with Crystal clear water and boating and lunch. Return to Shillong and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5: Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati (100 kms / 3 hrs.)
Morning drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at hotel. In evening enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 6: Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station
Morning visit Kamakhya Temple, etc. Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Rly Station for your onward journey.
