Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu
Meeting at the airport upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, proceed to full day sight seeing of Kathmandu.
Places covered: Pashupatinath Temple, Hindu Temple, sacred shrine of Buddhist Boudhanath, Patan, also known as Lalitpur – second largest town in the valley. Patan’s central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples. Swayambhunath the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colourful fluttering of prayer flags, Buddha Neelkanta is a Hindu open air temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Day 3: Kathmandu-Bharatpur ( flight – 20-25 Minutes) – Royal Chitwan National Park (15 kms./ 30 min.)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to airport to board flight for Bharatpur . Upon arrival at Bharatpur Airport, transfer to Jungle Lodge at Royal Chitwan National Park. Lunch at Lodge. Later proceed for Village tour and enjoy Sunset view on the Bank of Rapti River. Dinner & overnight stay in Lodge.
Day 4: Royal Chitwan National Park :
After breakfast, proceed for Canoe Ride along Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching, two rare species of Crocodiles – The Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial, Jungle Walk and on the way back one can enjoy Elephant Bathing View. Lunch at Lodge. After Lunch proceed for Elephant Safari – an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deers, Rhinoceros, Wild Bore and if you are lucky, can see Royal Bengal Tiger. Dinner and overnight stay in Lodge.
Day 5: After breakfast, checkout from hotel
After breakfast, checkout from hotel and transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
