Day 01: Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport à Puri (60 kms / 2 hrs)
In the evening visit the Lord Jagannath Temple built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri. Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 2: Excursion to Chilika Lake (Satpada) (50 kms/ 2 hrs)
Lake is famous for Irrawaddy Dolphins. One can enjoy boating at Satpada (at own cost) and visit the lagoon where the lake meets with into Bay of Bengal. Evening back to Puri. Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 3: Puri a Konark (35 Kms/ 1 Hr) à Bhubaneswar (65Kms/ 2 hrs)
Morning checkout from hotel and drive to UNESCO Heritage Konark Sun Temple. Built in a form of Chariot is the Culmination point of Orissan Temple Architecture in 13th century AD. The life size figure depicting the story of the Social, Royal, Cultural life on the temple wall. Also visit Pipili Applique Village and Dhauli Peace Pagoda at Dhauligiri, 8 Kms south of the Bhubaneswar on the banks of the River Daya. Dhauli houses the marvelous Edicts of Ashoka imprinted on a mass of rock. It is believed to be the battle ground of the Kalinga War. Overnight at the Bhubaneswar hotel.
Day 4: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Lingraj Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest temples where non-Hindu are not allowed inside the temple premises. Later proceed to Udaigiri and Khandagiri Jain caves belong to 2nd Century BC, & Nandan Kanan which contains a botanical garden and part of it has been declared as sanctuary famous for its white tiger population (Closed on Monday). Evening you can enjoy shopping at Ekamra Haat buying local handicrafts and other goodies. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
Day 5: Bhubaneswar departure
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for onward destination.
